The Town & Country Club of Woodland (1914-2001) incorporated in 1940 and the clubhouse at 417 Lincoln Avenue, Woodland was sold to the Lions Club in 1992. This folder contains documentation pertaining to the sale of the clubhouse and includes a copy of articles of incorporation, description of executive offices, copy of Ann Blake Ryder will (one of the Shakespeare Club's founding members) describing bequest to the T&C Club. A Shakespeare Club booklet details its history, connections with the Town & Country Club, and an explanation of the Shakespeare Club's financial contribution to the Town & Country Club's incorporation and clubhouse improvements over the years. A 1992 Placer Title Company preliminary report is among these documents.
