Scope & ContentThis collection contains family photo albums and loose photos, Winters ephemera and Winters Express clippings, a family Bible, William L. Robinson's diary, and other documents from the Hodge and Robinson families of Winters.
John F. (1834-1875) and Temperance Norton Hodge (1836-1918) moved from Illinois to Yolo County in the early 1860s and farmed in the Winters area. Their daughter, Olive Hodge (1856-1915), married William Henry Robinson (1849-1927). His parents, Daniel M. (1829-1878) and Dorcas Martha Brunk Robinson (1829-1921), moved to the Winters area in 1857. William Henry and Olive Hodge Robinson had four children: Dora Lincoln, Jessie Robinson, Clara Robinson, and William Robinson. -
