Group includes Jack Greive (1894-1971) in the front row on the right. "During World War I, Jack served as a musician on the battleship Oregon. Later he raised sheep in Davisville. He was one of the eleven students in the first class at UC Davis. He was the son of Albert N. and Jackie (Deck) Grieve, who owned the Grieve Hotel that burned in 1906 and the Buena Vista Hotel that burned in 1918."
