Davis Street view: Corner of 3rd Street (now 2nd Street) and Olive Street (now G Street), 1868-70. On the left of the dirt road: Empire Saloon, horse standing in front of Marden House. On the right: wagon stands in front of a livery stable. Reproduction from a small business card used by Mrs. Ette, a Davisville photographer at that that time. Mr. Ette was believed to be a railroad photographer as the picture came down to Mr. Wm. Morrissey from a relative who was an early railroad man.
