"This old cemetery on the Knight Ranch, now abandoned, was used before the present Mary's Chapel was established. It is just outside the the city limits of Yolo. Many old graves are still to be found there." Gravestone of Mary C. Griffith, died 1852. Adjacent side of grave marker shows daughter Jennie P. Griffith died in 1869 at about three years of age. She was the daughter of A. and Mary (his second wife with the same name of "Mary") Griffith. Bare, fallen branches overgrow the setting.
