Evening purse. Black silk purse with ribbon flowers. Black ribbed silk. On both sides is same design. Basket of flowers, basket and leaves of gold thread. Flowers are colored red, orange, yellow, aqua, blue, lavender, pink, ribbons gathered and applied. The ribbons appear to be edged with very fine gold threads. Around the sides and bottom are 5 very narrow ruffles from similar ribbons. Chain and frame gold colored metal. Frame has scalloped edge and design of scallop shells and daisylike flowers and dots. Below the clasp is small triangular attachment with cupid and the plain chain is attached to the frame by swans. Purse lined with peach silk, with 2 interior pockets. 8"x 8 1/4".
