The inscriptions are 'WEIGHTS 25 LBS BY OUNCES"; 'PATENTED OCT. 29, 1912: PATENTED JUNE 17, 1912, OTHER PATENTS PENDING'; and 'NOT LEGAL FOR USE IN TRADE."
