Boudoir Cap: Pale peach silk. Crown is ecru net trimmed with 2 narrow bands of ribbon. Around this are small silk, laced edged point which hang down. Between each 2 points is a small, pastel ribbon rosette. Wide satin ribbon forms casing to shape cap & has 2 ribbon rosettes in front. Down back is a series of 3 rosettes ending in streamers to hang down neck. Narrow hem is hemstitched. 14"x 7 1/2". HISTORY: Worn at 1922 wedding of Sarah Sigourney Bramhall & William Byas Gibson IV
