Blacksmith tongs. Gad tongs. 24" long. 3/8" diameter rods, with circular jaws on one end, bent "hook" and y-shaped notch on the other. Rods flattened and riveted together at neck. Jaws circular, 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" topped by 2" flattened projections containing 7/8" grooves inside. History: Handmade tools from Estate of S. Troy Bristow, Knights Landing, CA.
