The collection consists of photos of the Woodland Spreckels Sugar Company factory taken by Chief Engineer Kenneth A. Meserole (1886-1976) from 1936 to 1943. It includes pictures of the plant under construction, factory operations, machinery, sugar beet processing, and Spreckels workers. The factory was located northeast of Woodland. It opened in 1937 and closed in 2000.
