2.75" x 2.5" x 1" reservoir with hinged cover. 1" x 1.5" neck containing piece of rag in hole. Crude handle of flat iron ribbon .5" wide x 5" long attached to reservoir 3.75" x .125" Extension for handing lamp. History: Said to be 400 years old. Donated to YCHS by Mrs. Mary Smith of Woodland, who brought it from Thyaer, Kansas, with note: "From Don Hanson attic. 8/11/81"
