Pair silk garters. Elastic covered with ivory silk. 15" circumference. 1 1/2" width. Silk faille bow on each. Early 1800's. History: Worn by donor's great-aunt, Rose Cushing, of Shasta, CA, when she married Martin Bloate in Oakland, CA, in the late 1800's.
