Carpet Tack Puller: 6" overall length. 4 1/2" cylindrical wooden handle painted black. Steel "beak" upper, curved portion swings open and closed. Mounted on small rod between sides of stationary, curved lower portion. History: Pieces of carpet were tacked to the floor and taken up during spring cleaning to have accumulatred dirt and dust beaten out of them.
