Double lithograph. DePue and Co., Publishers, San Francisco. Top section titled: "Mardis & Lawson, Props. Woodland, Yolo Co., Cal." also titled "Fashion Stables" showing building with horse drawn carriage or buckboard and man riding horse. The lower section is broken into two smaller sections. The top section is titled: "Town of Dunnigan, Cal. -- Looking West"; the lower section is titled: "Town of Dunnigan, Cal., Main Street Looking East". Buildings in this picture are labeled "Gray's Saloon", "Haynes & Lewis Store", "Post Office", "G.W. Gray -- Drugs and Notions", "Lewis Hotel". The print is 11" x 18", frame is original, and makes for a total of 14" W x 20 1/2" H. Black japanned two lines with in between frame grain-painted with original beaded lip, appears to be replaced glass without noticable bubbles. c. 1860-1880.
