White handkerchief linen slip with machine-made lace trim. Machine sewn. Narrow lace edging around armholes and low, rounded neck. Center front section has decorative panel made of 2 kinds of lace -- strips of one type frame pentagonal fields with sprigs of flowers. The waist is dropped and the skirt is slightly gathered over the hips and in back. Skirt has a 1 3/8 in. tuck. There is a 11 in. flounce with 4 bands of lace insertion. Attached to the bottom of that flounce is a 4 3/4 in. one with a band of lace insertion and lace at the hem. Style indicates 1920's date.
