Chair, Child's. Different woods, plain ladderback style. Front and back legs are thick and plainly turned. Back has 2 plain slats and plain finials atop stiles. Stretchers on all 4 sides. Woven leather seat. History: Donor said came across plains in 1852. Originally belonged to another family, but when their child died on the trip, it was given to his family.
