[nb-NO]Exent[nb-NO]The collection consists of photos, albums, scrapbooks, ephemera, and legal and personal documents from Floyd and Mary Ebbinghausen. Floyd Ebbinghausen (1912-1999) was born in Lake County and attended Willow Oak School and Woodland High School. He worked for E. L. Wallace and Sons and also was a member of the Knights Landing Volunteer Fire Department and served on the board of the Knights Landing Community Center. He married Mary Howard in 1933. Mary Howard (1913-2008) was born in Woodland. She was descended from the Howard and Farnham families, both early Yolo County families. She attended Woodland High School and worked as a teaching aide. Floyd and Mary Ebbinghausen's only daughter, Mary Ann Ebbinghausen, was born in 1934 and died in a car accident in 1946.
