This collection contains records of all regular and special sessions of the county Board of Supervisors, the elected legislative agency of the county. Contains all resolutions and decisions on all activities of county: formation of townships, election precincts and school districts; county boundaries; election returns; granting of franchises; issuance of county bonds; laying out of highways and building of bridges, schoolhouses and county buildings; taxes; and water. Called Supervisors Records until 1933, when it became Board of Supervisors Minutes. Collection of all the background documents provided to the Board of Supervisors to aid in all decisions, including, but not limited to, Agreements, Resolutions and Ordinances. Includes letters, maps, and commendations. Arranged chronologically by date of session; documents are grouped together with a copy of the Agreement, Resolution, Ordinance, or Minute Order to which they provide background information.
