Long black silk taffeta skirt with 13 flared gores. Center back opening with pleats. Hook and eye closure. 3/4" braid stiffening around lower edge of skirt. History: Belonged to Mrs. Canning, the mother of Alletha C. Epperson and grandmother of donor. (Women's Dresses 1890s/1910s)
