Cap Thomson (1930-2023) attended UC Berkeley and later became Director and Program Chief of Yolo County Mental Health Services. He also was a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UC Davis and UCSF. Helen MacLeod Thomson (b. 1940) served on the Yolo County Board of Supervisors from 1986 to 1996 and again from 2002 to 2010. She was was a member the California State Assembly from 1996 to 2002. She is also a registered nurse.
