The Stories and Voices of the Women of Yolo County Oral History Project was conducted by an intern with funding from the Yolo County Women's History Month Committee. The project, through oral history interviews, documents the stories and experiences of five (5) women from communities throughout Yolo County. Other topics that are discussed in these interviews include Spanish American immigrant experiences; agriculture, vineyards, and wineries; working as artists; LGBTQIA+ communities; women in leadership; etc. The women interviewed in the course of this project included: Gloria Lopez (Winters), DD Levine & Julia Luckenbill (Davis), Linnea Wong (West Sacramento), and Jody Bogle (Clarksburg). Interviews were conducted by Chelsea Tarvin.
