Box, Salt , hand made with hinged top lid. Backboard has a hold for hanging the box. Inside edges are taped, no nails or screws.Paper note on bottom of box states: "Clara Arnold's salt box. Clara and James were married in 1884. I presume they used this on ranch in Dinuba.
