Wedding Dress. Off white silk gauze. Shoulder yoke with vertical tucks, double leg-of-mutton sleeves pointed at wrist, boned bodice. Attached cummerbund with three ruffles to a point, with puckered stitching below waist & at knee level. Self fabric border in a scallolped pattern at bottom of skirt. Two attached underskirts, one accordian pleated and other of taffeta with 5" pinked ruffles. History: Worn by Rownes Merritt (Stadtmuller) 6/14/1905 and Rowena Stadtmuller (Beeghly) 6/7/1937.
