Unbleached cotton muslin nightgown. Long sleeves with eyelet embroidery ruffles at wrist. High, square neck with off-center 3-button placket, eyelet embroidery "wing" collar and front neck decoration, eyelet embroidery ruffle around collar and neck, back and front. (3 different eyelet designs). Shoulder yoke on back. History: Belonged to Mrs. Canning, mother of Aletha Epperson and granddaughter of donor.
