Purple wool skirt, 23" waist. Lined with light weight tan canvas and stiffened with tan buckram. Flared. Hook & ege back closure with back pleats. c. 1880s. History: Worn by Celia Dill Huber, from March 9, 1863. Sister to Emma Margaret Dill Casillis who married Silas Obadish Casillis of Zamora and lived on family homestead ranch north of Zamora.
