Eldridge Moores (1938-2018) was a founding member of the Department of Geology at UC Davis in the 1960s and a longtime member of the UC Davis Symphony. He married Judy Riker Moores in 1965. Judy Moores served on the Yolo County School Board, co-founded the Explorit Science Center, and is a climate activist.
