Child's dress. White cotton batiste. Elaborate yoke in vertical tucks, lace, hemstitching. Four-button closure at back of neck. Dress gathered at yoke, falling free to hem. Horizontal tucks, lace, hemstitching around bottom 7 1/2" of skirt. History: Worn by Harriet's sister Elizabeth Burnett, in about 1914.
