Butter knife, marked: "W. M. Rogers & Son AA" Pattern unidentified. Main motif is a 5 petalled flower, which appears on the blade, beside joint to handle, and on the handle, a large one flanked by 2 small, half hidden ones at top of handle, smaller one in the middle of the handle, and smallest one at the base of the handle. The edge of the handle is curved and is edged by 3 raised bands, which look like they are bound together by crossed ribbons. Donor dates c. 1880-1890, and says it is silverplate
