Red wool fiber, gabardine fabric, jacket. Red trimmed sleeves and collar with velvet ribbon. Accented on front, sides, back and sleeves with black stitching, button at base or top of stitching. Mandarin collar with pongee front. Belt has 4 rows of velvet ribbon, clusters of 2" long beading. History: Belonged to Nancy More Root about 1863. Mother of Elnora and Virginia Lee Gibson.
