A stereoscope with two magnifying lenses fits the head for viewing. The oval piece is 5" by 3" and the lenses are 1 1/4" square. A piece attached to the viewing section is 9 1/2" long and has a 6 1/4": sliding card holder. A pointed wood handle is connected to the centerpiece, one inch from the nose piece. The handle is 4 1/2" long and the head piece is velour lined. This is a particularly elaborate stereoscope as it is painted black and decorated with copper designs and velvet.
