Animal Horn. Blown to call people. The horn is black, but lightens to white at the open end, which has a scalloped edge. There is a red piece string attached to two points of the horn, likely to hang it from a wall. History: Donor states that his grandfather, Anderson, Gustav, of Blacks Station (Zamora) brought the horn with him on the Overland Trail to CA in 1874. Donor's grandmother used the horn on the ranch to call the ranch hands.
