Spinning wheel brought overland by Hezakiah Monroe Miller about 1895. Probably brought by railroad. It was probably not used as a spinning wheel but kept as a family heirloom. The Miller-Meyer-Poffenburger families settle north of Knight's Landing on a ranch near the river. Mrs. Duncan's husband, Jack Miller Duncan was grandson of H.M. Miller.
