Chair, side. Rococo revival, balloon back, finger roll side chair. Demi-arms, carved crest (twig, leaves, grapes, fruit), front legs very simplified cabriole. Seat has bowed front and needlepoint upholstery (beige background with rose and blue flowers). Varnished walnut. History: According to donor, Ca. 1860-76, from Oregon, Ill.
