Green, blue, white and gray silk taffeta dress. Hook and eye front bodice closure with 1" wide silk fringed braid down right side. Bodice is lined with muslin. 19" bell-shaped sleeves edged with green fringe. 8" upside-down tulip-shape oversleeve, attached 15" from bottom edge. 7" cap, same shape, attached at shoulder and edged with green fringe braid. Skirt waistline heavily gathered and attached to bodice with snaps in front. Sewn to bodice in back. History: Wedding dress of Della Manuel worn in 1860's. (Women's Dress 1890s/1800s)
