Japanese Flag. 25" x 31 1/2" silk. Gray (probably originally white) with 16" diameter red circle in center. Silk tie-cord on one corner. Gray area covered with many Japanese writing characters, probably names or signatures of men in the battalion. History: Acquired by donor's husband during World War II.
