Skirt. Black satin and white moire strippes with white linen, crinoline and lace. Waist band with black satin pleats and white moire folds woven into the fabric. Pleats are superimposed over front and draped satin flounce is caught up at sides of hips. Back is gathered at waist with a row of satin box pleats. Panniers (overskirt) bunches up in the back at waistline. White linen across back with tapes at knee length to help shape "bunched" look, across front at hemline are two rows of crinoline and lace.
