This collection of Yolo County Superintendent of Schools material was found in the basement of the Maxwell School by Dan Dowling who purchased the property for redevelopment. Many of the items located there had become very moldy due to flooding that had occurred and so only a half box of material was saved along with some financial ledgers.
The school reports provide detailed data for the County Schools such as Census Statistics [i.e. number of children], School Statistics [e.g. Are the schools provided with a water-closet], Financial Statistics, School Property Information [location], etc. and are designed to show the progress and condition of the Public schools in the County.
